Scholarship Program
Scholarships
CSE’s scholarship opportunities are afforded to Latino students in the U.S and El Salvador who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who demonstrate a desire to continue to “pay it forward” to other like-minded youth and individuals and the residents in their respecting communities, towns, and villages. Scholarship awards are intended to provide assistance with tuition, room and board, textbooks, travel and educational expenses associated with their high school and/or college enrollment.
Eligibility Requirments
- - Full-Time enrollment and/or acceptance in a US or El Salvadoran accredited community college, high school, four-year university, or professional program during the period for which the scholarship is requested.
- - Must have already applied and received some sort of financial aid from FAFSA and demonstrate financial need
- - Consistent, active participation in public and/or community service activies
- - Must be of Central American or other Latino descent
- - Must possess a 2.5 minimum GPA
- - Must be either:
- - Acceptance into or a current private high school student
- - Incoming freshman college student
- - Graduating High school seniors
- - Current Undergraduate or Graduate student
- - Vocational/Trade student
- - Applicants must reside in
Renewal Criteria
- Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment (12 credits minimum for fall & spring semesters and complete 24 credited hours.)
- Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 during their freshman and sophomore year and a 2.5 in their junior and senior year.
- Recipients must re-apply for federal aid via the (FAFSA) yearly by March 1 and continue to demonstrate financial need.
